What is Sponsor Care?
Customer service representatives at participating financial institutions use Sponsor Care to access data on CheckFree's processing platform. The CheckFree platform processes all bill payment data, such as subscriber, account, and payee information. Sponsor Care allows you to view and update this information depending on your security level.
Sponsor Care includes a set of case management tools. When a subscriber calls with an inquiry that requires further research or contact with the payee, you can use these tools to create a case that records all the necessary details of the inquiry. You can send the case to CheckFree for appropriate resolution.

Returns you to the top left of the current page. | |

Takes you back one page of data. Previous and next buttons, which appear on a page when there is more data than a single page can accommodate, allow you to page backward and forward through the data. | |

System Navigation
The main tools for navigating the Sponsor Care system are the page links and the navigation bar links. The browser itself contains navigation tools, but this discussion is limited to the aids created for the Sponsor Care system. For browser information, consult the online help for your browser.
Main Navigation Bar
The main navigation bar appears in the black bar across the top of the page and contains links to the entry points of Sponsor Care and to the logoff command.

If you have access to information for both merchants and sponsors, the navigation bar also includes a Biller Care link. If you have access to information for more than one merchant in Biller Care, clicking this link opens the Merchants List page. If you have access to information for only one merchant in Biller Care, clicking this link opens the Customer Search page.
Subscriber Menu
The subscriber menu is a list of function links on the upper right of the page, just below the main navigation bar. These functions are the basic components of the Sponsor Care system. Clicking a link takes you to a subscriber page, usually the first page in a set of related pages. For example, when you click the Co-Subscribers link, the Co-Subscriber List page for the selected subscriber appears.
The subscriber menu does not appear on pages until you reach the Subscriber Detail page. From that point on, you can use it to access information on the selected subscriber. Some functions in the subscriber menu are not underlined, indicating that they are unavailable at this stage or unavailable for this subscriber.
Note: Availability is also determined by your security level.
Page Navigation bar
The Page Navigation bar is a blue band containing links that take you to information related to that page. These page links allow you to proceed to subscriber information logically related to the information you are looking at currently. For example, if you are reviewing a historical payment that is associated with exceptions, you will see links to the credit and debit exception pages.
You can also access help information on the page itself. The bar always includes a question mark icon on the far right that is a link to help on the current page.

To ensure that sponsors receive the proper assistance with production issues, Customer Care issues and training issues, CheckFree provides support that focuses on distinct service areas.
