The following table provides descriptions of the fields on the Bill Summary Detail page.

Bill Category

The category of the electronic bill. Valid values are: Replacement (the electronic bill is a replacement) and [blank] (the electronic bill is the original).

A replacement bill updates and replaces an original e-bill, some portion of which no longer applies (for example, the amount of the original bill was incorrect and had to be adjusted).

Bill Due Amount

The payment amount due for the bill or the credit amount due to the subscriber. A negative amount indicates a credit. This field may be blank if no amount is due.

Bill Due Date The payment due date.

The biller has the option of displaying a date or text (for example, Pay upon receipt). Billers who choose to display text rather than a date provide their own text. The Bill Due Date may also be blank.

Bill Status

The status of the electronic bill from the subscriber's perspective. Values are Active(A), Inactivate(I), Retired(R).

An inactivated bill has been inactivated by the biller. A retired bill is one that the subscriber no longer wishes to view.

Note: To re-transmit a bill, change the status from Retired to Active.

The Electronic Postmark status indicator tells you whether the U.S. Postal Service has postmarked the creation, modification, or cancellation of the payment on a specific date and time. Valid values are Yes (the payment transaction has been postmarked by the Postal Service) and No (the transaction has not been postmarked by the Postal Service).

Note: The EPM status indicator is set to Yes when CheckFree receives the postmarked payment transaction from the Postal Service. An EPM payment transaction that the subscriber has just created or changed contains a No value until the Postal Service applies the postmark and sends the transaction back to CheckFree.
