Add Case Page - Fields

The following table provides definitions for each field on the Add Case page. Not all fields will be present for each case; for example, the Payment Summary section only appears when the case is payment related.

Field Description
Case ID Number identifying a case.

Priority

Current priority of a case.

  • Normal:  The default value for all cases.
  • Urgent:  The case involves payments for a mortgage, utility, or cable service that is pending or in disconnection, insurance payments pending or in cancellation, or auto payments pending or in repossession.
Reason Category Category and reason for the customer's inquiry.
E-bill Identifier Reference number assigned to the e-bill by the party creating the e-bill detail.
Payment Information
Payment Method

Method used to make payment. Values include:

  • Consolidated Checks
  • Single Checks
  • Drafts
  • Draft Overnight
  • CIE
  • RPS
  • EPAY
  • PPD
  • Direct Send
  • BOSS
  • Paper Debits
Check/Trace Number Corporate check number or electronic trace number assigned to the payment.
Industry Code Industry code assigned to the payee by CheckFree.
Scheduled Pymt Date Customer's requested payment date.
Account Holder Name of the person or business that has an account with the biller. Length: 40 characters.
Payment Amount Customer's requested payment amount.
Payee Account Number Customer's account number with the payee.
CF Remit Date Date CheckFree processed the payment.
Contact Name Name of payee contact the customer has contacted in attempt to resolve issue. Length: 40 characters.
Contact Phone Phone number associated with the Contact Name. Length: 17 characters.
Case Note Text box for case-related notes. Accepts 25 lines of 78 characters each.
